How is it nearly the end of January already? While most Januaries in the past saw the rise of gym memberships, following new years resolutions, 2019 saw the birth of Veganuary. If you consider yourself a foodie and been regular on social media, then you probably heard of Veganuary. Yes, the January is now known as Veganuary in the foodie community. So what is Veganuary exactly & where did it come from?

Veganuary is a global initiative to persuade people to try going vegan for the whole month of January this year. The is a whole website created for this purpose full of info, recipes and other content related to veganism.

Not all of us are embracing the trend, but it sure does inspire us to eat more healthy and try out vegetarian or vegan dishes. This can only be a good thing, right? While the majority of people become vegan or vegetarian for the love of animals, some try and often stick to it for the love of their bodies and health. Veganism has been proven to have certain health benefits we can no longer ignore and with many new ingredients coming on the market, the vegan diet is nothing but exciting.  While you can find vegan recipes from all over the world here. We were really taken by British Vegan Recipes. If you have not tried jackfruit or a vegan burger that bleeds, then you probably will this year. Check out the list of hot vegan foods of 2019.

While not only vegan cooking is a subject on its own, the vegan culinary tours and vegan food takeaways are set to be a very hot trend for the rest of 2019, according to uber eats, let alone Veganuary.
